Die Antwoord, Deftones & Crystal Castles @ BDO 2011

So the runner up for best performance in our opinion (Apart from Rammstein) would definitely be Die Antwoord. Now most people in South Africa see them as an embarrassment but after seeing their show we can honestly say we are proud to be South African. Those Kiwis didn't even know what hit them ;D

Next up is our boys Deftones, we got to meet them in person before their performance and Matt had his cap signed by the whole band. A really awesome moment <3

Next up is Crystal Castles with the peculiar Alice Glass, She actually walked  on stage with crutches since she damaged her leg or something. Her doctor told her not to do the tour but she showed up anyway. What a champ! <3

Rammstein @ Big Day Out 2011!

So as promised and after long delay here are some pictures of the Big Day Out, we decided to give Rammstein an exclusive post as their performance was mind blowing! The pyrotechnics, crazy set design and awesome effects were incredible. These photos cannot do their performance justice, period. They made Tool look like a bunch of losers, and those Tool fanboys can't deny. Just saying~

They had a cute Nick/MTV/Comedy Central mural at their entrance.

Beautiful sea side walkways. And epic shopping!

So it's been nearly a year since Matt and I joined forces and made an awesome collaboration out of some comic gig we randomly scored. And to our excitement it was also released at the 2010 SDCC (San Diego Comic Con) it was also very well received which was great to hear. So finally we have received our own personal copies to give to friends and family. I took a few snaps since I'm too lazy to scan it all. Enjoy!

Gifts from Beth~

So I finally received my Christmas parcel from Matt's mother (aka my future mother in law ;D) Beth. I think she's been having a small case of anxiety over the holidays wondering if I would like it or not. But I finally received it, along with Matt's DVD 'Mock the Week', which we will be sure to watch in less busy times~ So anyways here's some shots of the top and necklace I got from her. The top came with a mini cardigan, but it's a bit hot for that today. (excuse the newspaper in the background, my cat is weird.)

And now I can finally put you out of your misery Beth
because I absolutely love them! Thank you! xxx

Where did my freckles go? :c
